Members of Crothersville FFA continued the tradition of providing a thank-you meal for all of those on the front line in honor of Patriot Day, which is Sept. 11 each year.
On Tuesday night, a meal was served to personnel with the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department, Crothersville Police Department and Jackson County Emergency Medical Services. The event was conducted at the fire station in Crothersville.
In the early years of the event, breakfast was served to the first responders. In recent years, though, it has switched to a dinner.
