Fair queen sash, tiara fundraiser to benefit Anchor House project

The Jackson County Fair queen competition is Sunday.

To commemorate this fun fair tradition, Marshall Memories Photography is selling sash and tiara sets for $20 with proceeds to benefit the Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry playground remodeling project.

A limited number of sets is available for purchase at B.loved, 920 E. Tipton St., Seymour, and Kay’s Kafe, 214 S. Sugar St., Brownstown. The wording on the sash reads “Future fair queen Jackson County.”

The sash and tiara sets also will be sold at the Marshall Memories booth in Exhibit Building 3 at the fairgrounds in Brownstown.

On the east side of that building, Jamie Marshall will be set up from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday taking free photos at a fair queen photo stage.
