Amy Ellen Mellencamp (Pendergrass), 41, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on June 26, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 9, 1980, in New Albany, to the late Windy Doty. She married the love of her life, Travis Mellencamp, on July 17, 2010.

Amy is loved by so many friends and family. She loved our Creator, gardening, growing herbs, and her favorite show was Supernatural. Amy loved her career working with animals at Paws-N-Klaws. She loved the holiday Halloween, her dogs, and enjoyed having a cold one and conversation with her friends and family. She was spiritual, confident, beautiful, fierce, loyal, loving and a hilarious woman.

She is survived by her husband, Travis Mellencamp of Seymour, Indiana; her fur babies, Jackson (Hooter) and Oliver Robert (Ollie Bob); her brother, Jack Fetts of Lexington, Indiana; her in laws, Peggy and Robert “Nub” Mellencamp of Seymour, Indiana; and many other friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her mother Windy Doty.

Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Friday July 1, 2022, from 4pm until the time of service at 7pm.
