The Columbus City Band visited Brownstown on Sunday for its annual concert.
The band, which includes musicians from Jackson County, performed a variety of patriotic and popular songs on the stage at Heritage Park.
The concert was sponsored by Brownstown Fund for the Arts, Tormoehlen Enterprises and Spurgeon Funeral Home.
The band began performing patriotic concerts on the lawn of the Jackson County Courthouse in June 2004 and also performs at the Jackson County Fair each year. This year’s fair concert is set for 7:30 p.m. July 26 at the pavilion.
