Shields Park Pool in Seymour hosted Special Family Swim Night on Thursday.
The two-hour event was an opportunity for families of individuals with special needs to spend time together at the pool for free.
Nearly 130 people were in attendance Thursday night. The pool managers, Dave and Chris Boggs, said it’s their pleasure to offer this to families once each summer.
The event was supported by Stacy Findley, director of the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department.
