Larry Thomas Park, age 82, a native of Lebanon, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, Indiana. He was born on March 9, 1940 to the late Frank Park and the late Margaret (Phillips) Park. Larry was a Christian by Faith and served his Country proudly in the United States Navy. He attended Cal State University in Long Beach , California and Rose Polly College in Terra Haute, Indiana. He was a lover of music and singing and was a member of a Barbershop Quartet. Larry loved to travel, especially with his beloved wife of 18 years, Mary Lou Park. He will forever be remembered as a delightful people person that loved to kid around and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was joyful, inclusive and welcoming. Larry loved Disneyland and making Christmas ornaments and decorating for the seasons.

He is survived by his son, Tim Park and his wife Jennifer of Tustin, California and step son, Kevin Adkins and his wife Dena of Huntington Beach, California and one daughter, Bonnie Park and her husband Efrain Contreras of Fullerton, California. Two sisters, Dorothea Park of Ohio and Deanna Hacker of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Eight grandchildren, Branden, Brenna, Brindalyn, Joshua, Jen, Kaila, Vincent and Jackson. Numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one step daughter, Marcheta Allen.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Andy Schroeder officiating.

A private burial will take place next to his wife at The Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
