Don Arnold Schneck

Don Arnold Schneck, age 79, a lifelong resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 23, 1943 to the late Arnold Schneck and the late Anna (Johnson) Schneck. Don was a faithful member of Central Christian Church for over forty years and a veteran of the Unites States Army National Guard. He has many interests, including woodworking, fishing and was always quick to tinker and could “fix anything”. He enjoyed gardening, flowers and his veggies included the “best tomatoes in Jackson County”. He was an avid collector of Native American Relics and enjoyed hunting in his early years. Of all that he loved in this life nothing compared to the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Don will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life that he touched in his own special way.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Nickie (Storey) Schneck of Seymour, Indiana, one son, Brad Schneck and his wife Ginger of Seymour, Indiana, one daughter, Angela Schepman and her husband Greg of Crothersville, Indiana and one sister, Marilyn Newby of Umatilla, Florida. Five grandchildren, Josie Schneck, Ben Schepman, Jake Schepman, Sam Schepman and Anna Schepman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Debbie Newby.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Christensen Family Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 1 p.m. Funeral Services will conclude with full Military Honors.
