Library trustees meeting coming up Monday

The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

The meeting is open to the public and press.

Brownstown youth planning bake sale fundraiser

A Brownstown youth attending a charter school out of Noblesville plans to hold a bake sale for the Cold Case Foundation as her senior project.

The Cookies for Closure sale, organized by Mackenzie Edwards, will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Seymour Police Department, 205 N. Ewing St.

The sale will feature baked goods such as cookies, fudge, brownies, pies and more. For information about the foundation, visit coldcasefoundation.org.
