A Vallonia woman recently was recognized by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish and Wildlife for her years of service with the state.

Shannon Winks, who has spent 25 years with the agency, serves as a private lands biologist with the state and works out of the Driftwood State Fish Hatchery near Vallonia.
