Seymour choirs host district festival

Three Seymour High School choirs participated in this past weekend’s Indiana State School Music Association District Choral Festival in the school’s Earl D. Prout Auditorium.

Colla Voce (beginning girls) received gold, Owl Tones (intermediate mixed) earned gold and Men’s Choir (beginning boys) got silver.

Other schools in attendance were Columbus North, Bedford North Lawrence and Christian Academy of Indiana.

Varsity Chorale and Sirenas will compete this Saturday against some of the state’s top programs at the ISSMA semistate competition at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
