Police cancel Silver Alert for Seymour man; more info forthcoming

A Silver Alert that was issued Tuesday for an 89-year-old Seymour man was canceled late Wednesday.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information officer for the Versailles Post, updated his original post about Harold Wilson being reported missing.

He said more information is forthcoming.

ISP said for information on the Silver Alert cancellation, contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department at 812-358-2141.

The sheriff’s department investigated Wilson’s disappearance after he was last seen driving a red 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. He had been last seen at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday and was believed to be in extreme danger and require medical assistance.
