Howard and Marilyn Stogdill of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Howard and the former Marilyn Engleking were married April 23, 1972, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour with Pastor Darrel Geitz officiating.

The couple’s children are James (Alexis) Stogdill and Jennifer Stogdill Hinkle, and their dog’s name is Darrel. They also have four grandchildren, Lillian, Isabella, Judson and Jacobi, and three grandpets, Hans, Chewy and Hardy.

He is retired from Cummins Engine Co., while she is retired from Montgomery, Elsner and Pardieck.
