The Beck’s Mill spring wildflower hike is set for April 16 at the mill, 4433 S. Beck’s Mill Road, Salem.

The first hike will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and the second one will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The fee is $10. Preregistration is required by emailing [email protected].

The trails were blazed and maintained by the Hoosier Hikers Council and other local volunteers, including Mike Richards and the YMCA Hiking Club’s Kendall Elliott.

This event is sponsored by the Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District.
