The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees received a report from the Head of Collection Development Monica Riley during a meeting Monday at the Seymour Library.
Riley oversees the technical services department, orders and withdraws adult nonfiction materials and e-resources, serves as chairwoman of the Evergreen Indiana cataloging committee and is president of the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department board.
The board tabled proposed changes to the collection development policy and approved staff changes, a list of surplus furniture and closing the Seymour Library at noon Aug. 19 due to the Seymour Area Cruisers/Fraternal Order of Police car show.
The next board meeting is at 4:30 p.m. March 21 at the Medora Library.
