Trinity Lutheran students advance to state solo and ensemble contest

Trinity Lutheran High School students participated in the Indiana State School Music Association Solo and Ensemble Contest on Feb. 12 at North Decatur High School in Greensburg.

The vocal ensemble of Addison Bumbleburg, Kaitlynn Rowe, Nanami Higa, Sarah Lemming, Samantha Enzinger and Riley Lawles received a gold rating in Division I and will be performing at the state level on Feb. 19 at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. They sang “Lux Aeterna” by Z. Randall Stroope.

Also, Bumbleburg received a perfect score in Division I vocal solo and will be performing at state. She sang “Star Vicino” by Salvatore Rosa.

Brad Dyer participated in Division II piano solo and received a gold rating.

Trinity’s music department is under the direction of Leah Schneider.
