The Brownstown Park Board met Wednesday night to organize for 2022.

Officers for this year are Brian Wheeler, president; Paula Workman, vice president; and Rachel Johnson, secretary. Those all remain the same as last year.

Representing various areas are Wheeler, baseball; Workman, volleyball; Johnson, pool; and Brian Isaacs, softball.

Also, Gregg Goshorn is the board’s representative from the Brownstown Town Council, and those retained for their positions are Kevin Hanner, park superintendent; Mike Hawn, part-time park employee; and Jamie Temple, pool manager.

The board is accepting applications for assistant manager, lifeguards and concession workers for the pool this summer. Pick up an application at Brownstown Town Hall, 116 E. Cross St. For information, call 812-358-5500.

Board meetings will be at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month from March to October at the park shelter house.
