A coat drive to benefit the Jackson County Clothing Center will be conducted from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at First Baptist Church, 505 Community Drive, Seymour.
Donations of new or gently used coats will be accepted. The clothing center can use any size but has the most need for boys and girls sizes 1 to 14 and all men’s sizes.
The coat drive is being organized by Reddington Christian Church. First Baptist Church is allowing use of its parking lot to make it a more central and convenient location for the clothing center team and donors, said organizer Andrew Walls of Reddington Christian Church.
