Alan and Pollyanne Pollert of Brownstown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Alan and the former Pollyanne Wright were married July 10, 1971, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Crothersville. The late Rev. Lowell L. Dittmer officiated.

Alan is a self-employed farmer and raises beef cattle.

Pollyanne is retired from the office of JayC/Kroger/Ruler Distribution Center in Seymour.

Both are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church Sauers, Southern Indiana Angus Association, Jackson County Cattlemen’s Association and Indiana Farm Bureau.
