Danny and Kathy Snelling of Henryville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house given by their sons from 2 to 5 p.m. July 10 at Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, 4756 E. State Road 356, Scottsburg. Finger foods and dessert will be served.

Danny and former Kathy McDonald were married July 10, 1971, at Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church. Graham Snelling officiated.

The couple are the parents of two children, Greg Snelling of Freetown and Doug Snelling of Henryville. They also have three grandchildren.

Kathy is retired from Ponderosa Steakhouse in Scottsburg. Danny is retired from the Scott County Courthouse.
