The Seymour boys junior varsity and varsity basketball games scheduled at home Tuesday night against Greensburg were casualties of the Monday-Tuesday snowstorm.

Those games were canceled as well as other games involving Jackson County boys teams.

Brownstown Central’s home game versus Floyd Central was also canceled as a result of the storm and the road-clearing operations necessary throughout southern Indiana.

In addition, Trinity Lutheran was supposed to play at Edinburgh and Crothersville was due to meet Eastern (Pekin) on the road. The storm called off these games, as well.

It is unclear if any of these games will be rescheduled. Athletic directors were already scrambling to adopt schedule changes as an offshoot of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The boys regular season is due to conclude by the end of February. Sectional play starts the first week in March.
