Theresa and Jerry Simmons

Jerry and Theresa Simmons of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a very small family gathering.

Jerry and the former Theresa Vogel were married Feb. 6, 1971, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Four Corners, by Father Mike Albright.

The couple have three children, Brian Simmons, Debra (Brad) McLaughlin and Jennifer (Curt) Johnson, and six grandchildren.

Theresa is retired from Indiana Bank and Trust, while Jerry is retired from Valeo.
