Despite three double-figure scorers, the Crothersville girls basketball team could not overtake New Washington and dropped a tough road game 71-61 on Monday night.
Grace Wilson pumped in 20 points to lead the Tigers with Kennadi Lakins close behind with 18 points and Addy Cole contributing 11 points in a game that included a high-scoring fourth quarter.
Both Southern Athletic Conference teams hit for 25 points over the final 8 minutes, and New Washington responded with four double-figure scorers.
The same trio of top scorers for Crothersville also each had double-figure totals in rebounds. Cole grabbed 11 rebounds, and Lakins and Wilson collected 10 apiece.
Crothersville (4-9) plays again tonight at home versus Austin.
