Seymour High School will conduct its annual Financial Aid Information Night in October.

The event will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Earl D. Prout Auditorium. It is free and open to any students and parents interested in learning more about the financial aid process and how to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

An INvestED financial aid specialist will be attending the event to answer questions.

Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required to attend.

The FAFSA application is available Oct. 1, and students who plan on furthering their education should complete and submit the forms as soon as possible, said SHS guidance counselor Sheana Harmon.

A financial planning guide is available on the SHS website at shs.scsc.k12.in.us for students and parents to download.
