Barbara Sue Mize, 89, of Seymour, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2020 at the Lutheran Community Home. She was the daughter of John R. Gamble and Hazel E. Bybee Gamble both who precede her in death.

On April 6, 1951 she married Donald M. Mize who went before her on March 2, 1985.

Barb was a member of Seymour Christ Temple and Jackson County REACT. She spent her life lovingly caring for her family; they were the light of her life.

Barb will be fondly remembered by son, David (Donna) Wayne Mize; grandchildren, David (Melissa) Wayne Mize Jr., Jeremy Michael Berg, Rachel (Shane) Rene Michele Keen; and 9 great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and her daughter, Susan Marsh.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, led by Barbara’s son, David. Face masks are respectfully required at all services.
