Schneck Medical Center and the Jennings County Health Department have partnered to provide free COVID-19 testing.

The clinic opened Tuesday and is located at the Education Training Center, 1200 W. O and M Ave., North Vernon.

The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays.

Individuals do not have to be symptomatic to be tested.

Appointments can be scheduled online at scheduling.coronavirus.in.gov. Walk-ins are accepted with registration completed onsite.

Schneck also is providing testing at the former state police post at 721 E. Tipton St., Seymour, in partnership with the Jackson County Health Department. Days and hours of operation are the same as above.
