Poplar Street between Laurel and Oak streets in Seymour closed Tuesday and will remain closed through midday today, according to an announcement from city hall.

Laurel Street between Pine and Lynn streets also will close at midday today and remained closed through Friday.

The closures are related to the start of construction of Crossroads Village, a $12.5 million project to provide seniors 55 and older with a new option for housing.
