Herrell and Judy Acton of Seymour will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family celebration.

Herrell and the former Judy Marshall were married July 19, 1970, at Surprise Christian Church in Surprise.

The couple are the parents of three children, Cory (Jessica) Acton and Curt (Jenni) Acton, all of Seymour, and Cara (Clay) Schepman of Brownstown. They have 10 grandchildren.

Herrell is retired from Valeo Sylvania, and Judy is retired from Zion Lutheran School.

Both are members of Zion Lutheran Church.
