Indiana Department of Transportation crews plan to convert the two way stop at State Road 11 and Fourth Street in Seymour to an all-way stop Thursday
The change will increase safety at the intersection as motorists from all directions will be required to stop, according to INDOT. At the present time, vehicles traveling east and west on Fourth Street are the only ones required to stop.
Message boards will be placed near the intersection alerting drivers to stop.
The work is conditional upon the weather.
