Carl VonDielingen Jr. and Cathy VonDielingen will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Disney World.

Carl and the former Cathy Haskett were married Aug. 24, 1969, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

They are the parents of three children, Julie (Derek) Shelton of McCordsville, Clint (Maria) VonDielingen of Indianapolis and Clay VonDielingen of Greenwood. They have six grandchildren, Alexis and Luke Shelton, Carly and Cara VonDielingen and Lila and Aria VonDielingen.

He is retired from Seymour Community Schools after 35 years of teaching. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and was stationed in Vietnam.

She is employed by Seymour Community Schools.

Both are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
