Lillie Elaine Dungan Sorber, 86, of Columbus, passed away at 12:10 a.m., August 3, 2019 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin.

Lillie was born February 2, 1933 in Connersville, the daughter of Herbert and Helen Henry Dungan. She married Creed Davis, who preceded her in death. She then married Wilson Sorber.

Lillie retired from Cummin’s Engine Company, and enjoyed camping and dancing.

The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday August 7, 2019 at Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Kendall Wildey officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the donor’s choice of charities.

Survivors include sons Mark (Beverly) Davis of New Albany, formerly of North Vernon, Mike (Diane) Davis of Mooresville, and Gary (Lana) Davis of Reddington; a daughter Judy (Tony) Frost of Franklin; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother David Lee (Linda) Dungan of Connorsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Creed Davis, her second husband Wilson Sorber; a son Robert Lee Davis; as well as brothers Russell Dungan and Donald “Dixie” Dungan.
