SEYMOUR

Betty Jean Terkhorn, age 99, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Lutheran Community Home – Forest Path, Seymour.

Mrs. Terkhorn was a member of Brownstown Christian Church, and was a homemaker. Betty loved her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, and also loved baking, especially baking butterscotch pies.

Born on August 1, 1920, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Paul Tout Pulliam and Bernice Prather Pulliam Robertson, both of whom preceded her in death.

On July 26, 1939, at their home in Brownstown, Betty married Albert William Terkhorn and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2002.

Survivors include two daughters: Molly Bernice (Henry) Rieckers and Nancy (Charles) Fox, both of Seymour; six grandchildren: Lorie Ann (Randall) Carter of Brownsburg, David Eugene (Kris) Rieckers of Columbus, Diana Wallace; Jim Albert (Tasha) Rieckers of Seymour, Stephanie Dawn Fox (Craig) Flinn of Seymour, and Ben Andrew (Cassie) Fox of Seymour; 13 great-grandchildren: Lauren Ashley Wallace, Lyle Aaron Wallace, Zachary (Katie) Flinn, Mitchell (Mariah) Flinn, Zachary Sanders, Will David Rieckers, Katey Rieckers, TaLynn Rieckers, Berklie Rieckers, Angel Carter, Eli Fox, Cali Fox, and Emmi Fox; one great-great grandson, Owen Flinn; and sister-in-law, Virginia Robertson.

Betty was also preceded in death by one brother, Jon Robertson; one sister, Carolyn Jeter; and step-father, Joseph M. Robertson.

A private family service will be held.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
