James (Jim, Mac) W. McIntire, passed away from a long term illness, natural death. He left lifes journey July 28, 2019. He was 82. Before retirement he was a truck driver for J.C. Grub, Seymour, IN. Jim was a true giver. Things he loved; drag racing and working on cars, heavy equipment operator in Florida. His hobbies were collecting coins and stamps. Jim was talented in many things before he became ill.

Preceded in death by: Parents – John W. McIntire (Seymour IN), Paulene Amanda Mae Lewis McIntire (Indianapolis, IN), Two brothers – John E. McIntire (Rose) (Florida), Allan D. McIntire (Carolyn) (Columbus, IN), Survived by Sister – M. Dianne McIntire-Henderson (Seymour, IN), Jim had several nieces and nephews.

Jim generously donated his body to the anatomical program at Indiana University School of Medicine. This gift will contribute significantly to the advancement of health science and education in the state of Indiana. Those like Jim who decide to bequest their bodies to the health science have made a significant contribution that benefits the quality of life and care for the living.

Jim will truly be missed. A celebration of life will be at Shields Park, August 17, 2019. Pitch-in time 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for those who want to come or drop by; Family & Friends
