Charles Steven and Phyllis Elizabeth Seybold of Seymour celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an Alaskan cruise in June.

Charles and the former Phyllis Elizabeth Bostock were married Sept. 22, 1968, in Paoli.

They are the parents of two children, Bradley Jay Seybold, deceased, and Kimberly Dawn Warren of Seymour. They have eight grandchildren.

Phyllis retired after eight years from Seymour Community Schools and is a housewife. She volunteers at Community Provisions of Jackson County Inc., Meals on Wheels and the Jackson County Clothing Center.

Charles retired after 43 years as a technology director at Jay C Food Stores. He also is retired after 22 years from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard. He is a member of the Sertoma Club of Jackson County and Jackson Masonic Lodge 146 in Seymour.

Both are members of Central Christian Church in Seymour.
