Rick and Betty Stanfield of Seymour celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to the Smoky Mountains and a family dinner.

Rick and the former Betty Rapp were married July 20, 1968, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. The Rev. Victor A. Mack officiated.

They are the parents of three children, Jeffrey Stanfield and Andrew Stanfield of Seymour and Jennifer Stanfield of Jeffersonville. They have one grandchild, Kenley Stanfield.

Betty retired from Jennings County School Corp. in 2014 and is employed part time with CASA/CCN.

Rick retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 2002 after 37 years of service.

Both are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
