James T. and Lois Cummings of Seymour celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary June 17 with a brunch at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
James and the former Lois Heath were married June 15, 1951, at Cowan Christian Church in Cowan.
They are the parents of Don (Barb) Cummings of Seymour and have two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Lois retired as a business education teacher at Franklin High School after 21 years.
James is a Jackson County native and is retired as a vocational/agriculture teacher, horticulture teacher and a FFA adviser at Whiteland High School and Central Nine Vocational School in Greenwood. He is a World War II veteran.
Both are members of White’s Chapel Methodist Church, where Lois is the church organist.
