Charles L.R. “Bud” and E. Ninette Basil of Seymour celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner given by their children at Oaken Barrel in Greenwood.

Cake was enjoyed by their children and grandchildren in attendance at the home of their daughter in Greenwood following dinner.

Charles and the former E. Ninette Pfister were married June 9, 1958, at First Church of God in Seymour.

They are the parents of four children, Nina Sylvester of Fishers, Marie Saxton of Greenwood, Teri Basil of San Antonio, Texas, and Yvie Butler of Seymour. They also have four grandchildren, Cooper and Addie Sylvester of Fishers and Ashlee and Aimee Butler of Seymour, and one great-grandchild, Gavin England of Seymour.

Ninette is a homemaker. Charles is retired and was a sales executive with LaGloria Oil and Gas Co. for 42 years.
