SPRAYTOWN

Ila Jean Hedrick, 92, of Spraytown, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at Schneck Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 5, 1925, in Spraytown, she was the daughter of Leona Coffman and Elsworth Ault. She first married Harry Marcott Jr. and later married Darrell Hedrick.

She worked at various restaurants and at Cosco until she retired. She was affiliated with the Free Methodist Church in Spraytown and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, flowers, animals and sewing.

Survivors include granddaughters, Penny Snyder and Vera (Tim) Hatfield; great-grandchildren, Corey and Kendra Simmons; and a great-great-grandchild, Braydon James.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Sharon Kay Ward and Carol Ann Monroe; brother, Kenneth Ault; and sister, Lavena Wolff.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with Minister Jerry Van Kuiken officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
