Hannah Gallion recently received the Brownstown Exchange Club’s February Youth of the Month award.

The Brownstown Central High School senior and daughter of Joey and Beth Gallion received the award from Kevin Gwin during a club meeting. Gwin, a teacher at the school, is a member of the club’s youth of the month committee.

Gallion is a member of the National Honor Society and student council (blood drive chairwoman), president of the Class of 2016, president of the Science Club, president of the Christian Club and a 2015 DARE Role Model.

Her other school activities include being a member and co-captain of the varsity cross-country and track and field teams. She is a member of the school choral department and participated in three school musicals, “Annie,” “Cinderella” and “Grease.”

Gallion told club members she planned to attend Butler University or University of Evansville and specialize in being a physician assistant. Her older brother, Luke Gallion, was the November 2011 Exchange Club Youth of the Month.
