Norris Wayne and Sandra Kay Kovener of Crothersville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 25 with immediate family and the bridal party enjoying a day of activities at the couple’s Lake Monroe home.

A dinner reception was conducted in the Talons Room at Eagle Pointe Restaurant.

Norris Kovener and the former Sandra Bryan were married July 24, 1965, at Tampico Baptist Church by the Rev. Norman Orr.

The couple have two sons, Bryan W. (Richelle) Kovener of Crothersville and the late Eric D. Kovener; and three grandchildren, Preston Kovener, Savanah Kovener and Makayla Montgomery.

He is retired from Cummins Engine Co.

She is retired from Integrated Business Solutions.

Both are members of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dudleytown.
