Tawna Lynn Denton and Steven Dewayne Smith, both of Seymour, plan to marry at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Mountain Baptist Church, Seymour, with a reception to follow at the church.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Daryl and Ruby Johnson of Seymour and the late John Rice, while the future groom is the son of Justin Zearing and Sharon Zearing, both of Scottsburg.

She is employed at Jay C Plus and Seymour Crossing.

He is self-employed.
