Jackie and Jean Hildreth of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Wisconsin Dells, where they honeymooned, and a family dinner with their children, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
Jackie Lee Hildreth and the former Jean Annette Peterson were married Aug. 28, 1965, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
They have four children, J. Michael Hildreth of Bloomington, Joseph L. (Jennifer) Hildreth and Sean A. (Sara) Hildreth, both of Seymour, and Renee A. Hildreth, who is deceased; and seven grandchildren.
She is retired after working at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Schneck Medical Center and CVS Pharmacy. She was a volunteer with Schneck Medical Center Hospice for 12 years and is a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

He is retired as a band director after 15 years with his last position being at Henryville High School (West Clark Community Schools). He is the owner of Hildreth’s Liquor Mart and a member of the board of Freeman Field Flying Club and the Freeman Army Airfield Museum board, serving as vice president. He has been a member of the Civil Air Patrol for more than 50 years.
The couple are members of Zion Lutheran Church.
