Ronald and Shirley L. Brown plan to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary today.

They were married July 8, 1960, by Joe Hollrah at Bunker Hill Christian Church.

They have two children, Mark (Shonnie) Brown of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Paula Jo Brown of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren, Shianne Kaina, Travis, Allen and Tanner Brown.

Both are retired and are members of Seymour Christian Church.
