Sarah Jane Onken of Brownstown recently was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Hillsdale College in Michigan.

Onken is a junior studying politics and mathematics, and she maintained a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester, according to a news release from the college.

She is the daughter of Lance and Carol Onken and a 2012 graduate of Trinity Lutheran High School in Seymour.
