He is the son of Benny and Robin Hassfurder of Deputy.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Seymour High School and a 2014 graduate of Indiana State University. She is an associate consultant at OpenSymmetry in Austin, Texas.

The future groom is a 2010 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a 2014 graduate of Indiana University. He is a software developer at General Motors in Austin, Texas.
