Bill and Verda Ruddick of Seymour plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children.

Bill Ruddick and the former Verda Marshall were married May 1, 1955, at Hayden Methodist Church by the Rev. Hubert Walker.

He is retired from Cummins Inc. and farming, while she is a homemaker. The couple are members of Reddington Christian Church and Hayden Historical Museum.

The couple have three children, Rodger Ruddick of Hayden, Jill (Mike) McGrew of Seymour and Julie (Bill) Klaes of Indianapolis. They also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
