Program puts eyes on the skies

Forrest Willey, a local amateur astrophotographer, plans to present a program entitled “Astronomy: Stars, Constellations and More” at 7 p.m. March 3 at the Jackson County Public Library.

Participants will have the chance to identify parts of the night sky in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St. The free program is open to all ages.

Registration is preferred by Sunday and may be made by going to myjclibrary.org/events or by calling the library at 812-523-4636.

Willey, who works with a landscaping business and is an amateur photographer, also will showcase some examples of his works.
