Jackson County Water Utility Inc. issued an “all clear” on a precautionary boil water advisory issued last week for customers in the northwestern part of the county.
The area affected was north of Freetown and included the areas of Houston, Spraytown and Maumee, according to a news release. Some customers in Brown County also were affected.
Water testing has been completed and shows no evidence of bacteria. This means the water is safe for consumption.
