Kenneth and Joann Wissel Parr of Seymour celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner at The Chocolate Spoon in Seymour with family and friends.

The couple were married Nov. 19, 1954, at the Central Christian Church parsonage in Seymour.

They have three children, Mike (Tracey) Parr of Brownstown, Rich (Judi) Parr of Seymour and Jan Walker of Seymour; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Parr is retired from Kremers Urban Pharmaceuticals as the executive assistant for 20 years. She is a

former member of the Seymour Elks Auxiliary.

Mr. Parr is retired from John C. Groub Co. as a member of the meat/deli/bakery management team after 33 years. He is a former member of the Seymour Elks Lodge.
