The Brownstown Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the town hall, 116 E. Cross St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include the Brownstown Township Fire Protection District with an offer on the former town building at 200 W. Walnut St.; Wessler Engineering with a preliminary engineering report agreement with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for the planning grant the town recently received; and Priority Project Resources with an administration contract for the planning grant.

Also during the meeting, representatives of the town’s wastewater, police and street departments and the park board member/school trustee will give reports, and the council will discuss a Beech Street acceptance request.

The meeting is open to the public and press.
