The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees approved staff changes and reviewed the 2017-2019 strategic plan during a meeting Monday at the Seymour Library.

Information technology specialist Ben Boyer gave the board an update on his job duties and discussed technology needs that should be included in the 2020-2022 strategic plan instead of a separate technology plan that will be submitted to the Indiana State Library.

The nominating committee presented a slate of officers for 2020, which will be up for approval during the December meeting: President Josh Bartley, Vice President Kathy Ellis, Secretary Bob Schmielau, Assistant Secretary Sally Crouch and Treasurer Mary Reed.

The next board meeting is set for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
